Mary Anne’s Wish Celebration

Mary Ann loves music, per her son, Jay she is a very creative lady - extremely talented artist, seamstress and even entered a contest to design a wedding dress for Madonna!

Music has been a large part of Mary Ann’s life. She has a gigantic picture of Johnny Mathis in her room at Castle Ridge and her family has programmed a tv in her room to play her favorite songs from Pandora.

Due to the unforgiving disease of dementia, it has claimed a lot from Mary Ann that she used to love to be able to do; however, when a Johnny Mathis or Elvis song is played, she immediately perks up and hums or sings along. She also loves John Denver and the Beegees, and used to play the guitar!

Mary Ann was granted her family’s wish for an Elvis impersonator to come and have a concert at the assisted living facility. It was a hit and Mary Ann is shown beaming!
